IRAN: The Iranian Currency and Gold Exchange Center has opened bids for its 13th gold coin auction. Spokesperson Asghar Balseini said 5.6 tons worth of gold bars have so far been sold in 34 auctions, involving over 178,000 gold coins. At the 34th auction, 176kg of gold was sold for IRR4.47 trillion (US$105.96 million).
